Service Officer: ~open~

American Legion Post 220 Service Officer Position Open
We want to express our gratitude to Dale Carter, who has stepped down as our Post Service Officer. Thank you, Dale, for your dedication and time served in supporting our local veterans and their families.
With Dale’s departure, the position of Post Service Officer is officially open, and we are looking for a dedicated volunteer to step up into this vital role.
Why Serve as Post Service Officer?
The Service Officer is one of the most impactful positions within our Post. You serve as a critical bridge between our local veterans, dependents, and the support systems available to them.

  • Direct Impact: You directly assist fellow veterans and surviving family members in navigating VA benefits, medical services, pensions, and local emergency aid.
  • Community Leadership: You act as a trusted advocate and voice for veterans in the Branson/Hollister area who need guidance during challenging times.
  • Training & Growth: You will receive training resources, access to regional service officers, and support to ensure you are equipped with the knowledge needed to guide others effectively.
  • Camaraderie & Purpose: Serving in this role offers a profound sense of purpose, continuing our core mission of "Veterans Helping Veterans."

How to Apply or Get More Information
If you have a passion for helping fellow service members and want to make a tangible difference in our community, we encourage you to step forward.
For details on the role's responsibilities or to express your interest, please contact Post Commander Curtis Clark directly or speak with him at our next Post meeting.
Thank you for your continued dedication to American Legion Post 220!
