Lieutenant Colonel John Rousselot, Armor and Adjutant General's Corps, United States Army (Ret.), completed a 22-year career (1971-1994) in the U.S. Army, serving on 3 continents, numerous countries, and across the United States. After completing his master's degree in mathematics, he entered active duty and served in a wide range of positions from Armor units & commands, diplomatic assignments, and high-level NATO commands. He has been active in the Hollister community serving on several boards including school, city, and county and as the Hollister Director of Emergency Management. He is a life member of the American Legion and, based upon his community involvement, is currently serving as the Post 220 Judge Advocate. His service has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Army Commendation Medal for Valor and the Department of Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
